A Manhattan pimp was convicted Thursday of running a Super Bowl sex trade operation involving a 15-year-old girl.
Damon Hayes, 45, was found guilty at trial of recruiting Yolanda Ostoloza, another woman and Ostoloza's child for his illicit business when the NFL championship was held in New York in January 2014, prosecutors said.
"The Super Bowl should not be used as an opportunity to promote illegal sex tourism," said Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance Jr.
Hayes exploited the teen "shockingly, with the help of her own mother," the DA added.
Prosecutors said Hayes flew the three from Florida to the city to work for him on Jan. 27, 2014.
