Three men are starting their prison sentences and a fourth is set to be sentenced in connection with a human-trafficking case involving a teenage girl in Salem, New Hampshire.
Prosecutors said the case could only be investigated because the 15-year-old girl involved was so brave.
"The victim in this case was groomed into prostitution when she was only a minor by individuals in her life who betrayed the bonds of trust that she had placed to keep her safe from harm," said Matt Etre of the Department of Homeland Security.
Authorities said the case started when police rescued the girl from a hotel room in Salem. They said Andy Pena was arrested at the hotel.
