HARRISBURG, Pa. — Just days before the scheduled start of his trial, a Chambersburg, Pa., man has pleaded guilty to seven counts related to sex trafficking, transporting prostituted victims, conspiracy and distribution of drugs.
The FBI identified Albert E. Martinez, 35, as one of the leaders in a multi-state, sex-trafficking ring that resulted in grand jury indictments in early 2015.
Four of Martinez’s alleged co-conspirators are still scheduled for jury selection and a federal trial to start Monday morning in Harrisburg.
Another defendant, Brandon L. Hill, pleaded guilty in his role as the supplier of drugs allegedly given to girls ages 13 to 18.
