Cosmetology students get special training on how to spot human trafficking victims

PIQUA, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Cosmetology students have a special subject they’re learning about at the Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua.
Students are learning how to spot and help human trafficking victims as part of the state’s curriculum.

Red flags include a man ordering services for multiple clients, and clients themselves not wanting to make small talk with anyone in the salon.
