Kentucky police sergeant, 2 others arrested during prostitution investigation

OAK GROVE, Ky. (WKRN) — Three people, including a police sergeant, have been arrested in connection to a prostitution investigation by Kentucky State Police.

The investigation began when authorities received a complaint of a female being held against her will at the Quality Inn in Oak Grove.

Kentucky State Police say three women were being held against their will and forced to have sex with several men.

Troopers arrested 34-year-old Michael Helton and 22-year-old Kiersten Napodano on charges of unlawful imprisonment, human trafficking and promoting prostitution.
