Three accused in human trafficking investigation

LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) -- Lincoln Police have arrested two people, and issued citations to another already in jail, for their alleged involvement in a human trafficking case in the Capital City.

In Summer 2016, a sex trafficking investigation in Lincoln resulted in three arrests including that of Jacqueline E. Stebbins.

Recently, a 15-year-old came forward, stating that she was also a victim of the same sex trafficking scheme.

After an investigation, police contacted Stebbins in jail to give her additional citations. They also arrested Darrel White and Amber Brecks.

Brecks, 24, and Stebbings, 33, were given citations for the pandering of a minor, and aiding and abetting First Degree Sexual Assault of a child.

White, 57, was cited for pandering of a minor.

After the investigation, authorities said that the three allegedly gave the 15-year-old a false birthday to make her appear 19, coordinated sexual encounters, and took money.
