Brand new on the seminar schedule for the Mid-America Trucking Show March 23-25 in Louisville is a free training session that needs to be on the to-do list for all attendees. As the eyes and ears of the nation’s roadways, Truckers Against Trafficking will offer training that teaches truckers how they “can help put a dent in domestic sex trafficking and bring kids home.”
TAT, in conjunction with the Kentucky Trucking Association, is offering drivers the opportunity to get human trafficking awareness training and certification on Friday, March 24, at 3-4 p.m. and at 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 in the South Wing Room B-104.
During these sessions, TAT will talk about how truckers can help in the movement to combat human trafficking. To be certified, you’ll watch a short video and supply a little information, at no cost.
It’s not too early to make plans. Visit TruckersAgainstTrafficking.org to learn more or stop by the Kentucky Trucking Association Booth No. 40680 at the show.
