Working To End Human Trafficking Through Prevention

GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Rebecca Bender graduated from Grants Pass High School back in 1998.

Since she graduated a lot has changed. On Tuesday, she spoke in front of 1,600 students as a human trafficking survivor.

Bender is the CEO of the Rebecca Bender Initiative that works to serve sex trafficking survivors and educate organizations about the issue.

“I think when you talk to high school students you not only have the ability to reach potential future victims but also potential sellers and potential future buyers," said Bender.
