Truckers Against Trafficking takes on human trafficking in the metro

The Olympic Swim Trials and College World Series are just around the corner and Omaha has been turning up the heat on human trafficking. Police say big events can attract that kind of crime.

A group of truck drivers have joined the fight to help against human trafficking.

Darryl Partner was a trucker for ten years; He now teaches the next generation of truck drivers at Metro Community College.

Partner says when he was on the road he didn't realize how big the problem of human trafficking really was. That’s why he joined Truckers Against Trafficking.

Partner says because truckers are on the road so much, they can help.
